| Blackburn prison inmate captured within an hour |

An inmate from a Lexington prison was arrested Wednesday less than an hour after he escaped. Christopher Dixon walked away from the minimum-security Blackburn Correctional Complex at 8:37 a.m., and he was captured at 9:25 a.m., according to the state department of corrections. He was arrested near railroad tracks not far from the prison. Dixon, 39, of Bell County, is serving a 15-year sentencefor drug-related crimes, according to prison records. Read More. |
