TUCSON - The death of an inmate at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Tucson is being investigated as a suspected homicide involving an assault. Richard Norriega was taken to Banner UMC South after prison staff found him unresponsive, but breathing, Monday afternoon. The inmate died at the hospital Tuesday morning. The Arizona Department of Corrections said investigators believe 30-year-old Norriega’s death was caused by an assault by another prisoner. Read More. |
