| Union: Heating 'problem' at Downstate prison |

Officials are doing "everything possible" to fix a heating problem at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, said Michael Mazzella, vice president of the Mid-Hudson Region chapter of the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association, Inc., on Thursday. It's unclear, at this time, when or why the heating problem began or what areas of the facility are impacted by it.
