LOS LUNAS — It’s a done deal for the New Mexico Corrections Department’s Women’s Transitional Living Center on Don Pasqual Road. Los Lunas residents’ opposition seemed defeated before it began, and the facility will open in March. Homeowners from the neighborhood organized a second town hall meeting with NMCD and elected officials Feb. 25 at the Los Lunas Transportation Center and they received a promise from Secretary of Corrections Gregg Marcantel.
