FORKS, Wash. -- Corrections officer Terry Breedlove was knocked unconscious and beaten at the Clallam Bay Corrections Center. And while it happened, a safety measure at the prison wasn't working. "I worry every single day. I worry about the guys that are working there today," Breedlove said. At Clallam Bay - like all prisons - inmates severely outnumber the corrections officers. "You're an officer by yourself with 80 to 100 inmates and these guys are killers," Breedlove said. "That's what they're in there for." Read More. |
