REMBERT, SC (FOX Carolina) - Authorities apprehended an inmate who escaped from a correctional institution in Lee County on Thursday. Tommy Lee Henderson, 32, walked away from custody at Wateree Correctional Institution around 1 p.m. He was serving time after being sentenced to five years in prison for possession of an imitation controlled substance and five years for grand larceny.
