BOISE, Idaho — Officials say a 74-year-old inmate at the Idaho State Correctional Institution south of Boise has died of natural causes. The Idaho Department of Correction in a statement Thursday says Jay Bruce Gorton was found unresponsive in his bed in the medical unit of the facility at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
