The man shot during a confrontation with Harriman police officers Tuesday night has been placed on paid administrative leave from his job as a state corrections officer, a spokesman confirmed Wednesday. Nathan Manis, 27, has worked as a corrections officer at the Morgan County Correctional Complex in Wartburg since 2011, said Tennessee Department of Correction spokesman Robert Reburn.
