SYRACUSE, N.Y. --- Corrections Officer Joseph Janusz must be a workhorse. Taxpayers paid him $106,543 for 1,854 hours of overtime in 2015 at Auburn Correctional Facility, where he was on the job an average of 76 hours every week, according to state records. Janusz pocketed more overtime pay than any other state worker in Central New York last year. But in a year where New York paid state workers a record $716 million in overtime pay, Janusz wasn't the overtime king. Read More. |
