Mayor petitions against relocating correction center

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) --The mayor of Pine Bluff is trying to stop more than 130 jobs from leaving the city.

It could happen if the women's prison in Pine Bluff relocates to West Memphis.

Arkansas Community Correction says the unit is beyond repair and fixing it isn't even an option.

But Mayor Debe Hollingsworth says it is and she's on a mission to stop it from happening.
