| DOC says Guolee remains suspect in director's murder |

KUSA - Nearly three years after the head of Colorado’s prisons, Tom Clements, was shot and killed, internal emails obtained by 9NEWS show Department of Corrections staff still consider 34-year-old Thomas Guolee a suspect in the case. Guolee was arrested in late December after stealing a car belonging to a DOC employee and then attempting to break into the home of a former DOC officer. He is a member of a notorious white supremacist prison gang, the 211 crew, and a reported associate of Clements’ assassin, Evan Ebel. According to an arrest affidavit 9NEWS fought to unseal, Guolee drove to Sierra Springs Drive in Colorado Springs at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. The former DOC officer’s wife was home alone with her 2-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter at the time, and was in bed when she heard "loud banging noises coming from her garage."
