| Tucker promoted to Major at MCF |

Miami Correctional Facility Superintendent Kathy Griffin announced recently the promotion of Danny Tucker to the rank of Major. Major is the highest ranking correctional staff member at MCF. Tucker has been working in the field of corrections his entire career; from the military, where he worked in the United States Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth, KS., to Miami Correctional Facility where he has worked his way up the ranks to Captain. During that time he also was a part of the Correctional Emergency Response Team (CERT) and was involved in a couple executions there. From Nebraska he moved to Arizona and worked with the Arizona Department of Corrections for 5 years until 2002. He worked in both the state facilities and in a couple of their private institutions: Phoenix West and Florence West facilities. Tucker moved to Indiana and began his career as an officer with the Indiana Department of Correction at the Plainfield Correctional Facility. He promoted to a sergeant when he transferred to Miami Correctional Facility and has worked his way up the ranks. Read More. |
