| Officials get early look at new Community Corrections facility |

An open house is planned soon for the new Clay Community Corrections facility. However, many local officials are stopping by to get a sneak peek since the program moved into the freshly painted offices last week. "We're really happy with the building," Clay Community Corrections (CCC) Executive Director Mary Brown said. "The individual offices allow for confidentiality, which we didn't have before." For years, the program was located in three cramped rooms on the third floor of the Clay County Courthouse. The layout of the previous office didn't allow for clients to discuss private issues with case managers since all three were in one room. Read More. |
