SPRINGVILLE, Alabama — Alabama Department of Corrections officials are investigating the injuries of two inmates at a prison that has been the site of two recent stabbings. Prison spokesman Bob Horton told Al.com (http://bit.ly/1RxnpQB ) on Tuesday that two inmates were injured at the St. Clair Correctional Facility in Springville. Details on the cause of their injuries weren't immediately available. Authorities have said an inmate was stabbed at the facility during a fight on Saturday afternoon and a guard who was stabbed at the prison on March 7 also suffered non-life threatening injuries.
