ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia has set an execution date for a man convicted of killing a woman in 1996. Department of Corrections Commissioner Homer Bryson on Wednesday scheduled the execution of Kenneth Fults for April 12. Fults was convicted in 1997 of killing Cathy Bounds, who was shot five times in the back of her head. Prosecutors say Fults killed Bounds after breaking into her house during a weeklong crime spree.
