| Inmate injured in fight at Detention Center |

On February 22, 2005 at 11:27am, deputies from the Calvert County (Md.) Sheriff's office responded to the Calvert County Detention Center for an assault. Investigation revealed, Inmate Clayton Taylor Jr., 21 years old of Prince Frederick, Md., assaulted another inmate causing that inmate to hit his head on the floor. Due to the injuries the victim sustained during the assault he was transported to Prince George's Shock Trauma where he is listed in critical condition. The victim's name has not been released pending proper notification. Charges in this case are pending. |
