| Lovelock Correctional Center donates to local groups through pizza sales |

Officials with the Lovelock Correctional Center held a check presentation Friday to benefit several local organizations, according to the Department of Corrections. The correctional center hosted a fundraiser with the local chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America to benefit veterans programs and the local food bank. The center sold 800 pizzas with Pizza Hut in November to inmates for a promotional price. Nearly $1,800 was raised through the program, according to a statement. Read More. |
