JUNEAU | An inmate of Waupun Correctional Institution was found guilty of attempting to kill another inmate and injuring a correctional officer. Eric D. Conner, 28, pleaded no contest to amended charges of second-degree intentional homicide and battery by a prisoner. He was originally charges with first-degree homicide but was offered a lesser charge in exchange for his plea. Judge Steven Bauer heard Conner’s plea and found him guilty of the charges.
