| Deputies capture Hancock County inmate; 2nd inmate remains on the run |

HANCOCK COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department tells News Channel 11 one of the men who escaped from jail has been captured. Inmate James Mullins is back in the Hancock County jail. He was captured and taken into custody just after midnight (early Wednesday morning) by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies found his vehicle on War Creek Road, about 10 miles from the jail. Read More. |
