MCALESTER, Okla. – Charges against a man accused of trying to smuggle contraband into an Oklahoma penitentiary were dismissed. In October, officials at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary say they noticed an unmanned aerial vehicle that had crashed after hitting a razor wire fence. The Department of Corrections says the drone was carrying a package with two 12-inch hacksaw blades, a cell phone, a cell phone battery, a hands-free device, two packs of cigarettes, two packs of cigars, two tubes of super glue, a bag of marijuana, a bag of methamphetamine and a bag containing less than a gram of heroin.
