Two Shelby County (Tenn.) Deputy Jailers are recovering after being attacked by an inmate. Officers say Inmate Robert Kelly attacked two jailers Tuesday afternoon -- while being escorted through the downtown building. We're told Kelly initially grabbed Deputy jailer Olivia Mills, injuring her neck. When Deputy jailer Tiar Shabbaz stepped in to help, he hurt his hand and wrist. Kelly was initially in jail for aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. Now, he faces two additional charges of aggravated assault. |
