| DOC hosts job fair to hire corrections officers |

The Florida Department of Corrections is seeking qualified individuals to work as corrections officers at the Madison Correctional Institution, Madison. The agency is hosting a recruitment fair 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwill Industries Big Bend Career Center in Tallahassee. The DOC hopes to hire about 30 corrections officers. It is looking for certified and noncertified correction officers. Applicants are asked to bring their driver’s license, legible copy of their birth certificate, social security card, high school diploma, GED or college transcripts and any applicable name change documents (e.g., marriage certificate). Veterans and current reservists/guardsmen should bring a copy of their DD-214 or military ID. Read More. |
