FLINT, MI -- The wrong man has been released from the Genesee County Jail after he impersonated his cell mate. Dustin Tyrone Thomas was released from the Genesee County Jail on Sunday, April 10, according to a report from WJRT ABC12. Thomas impersonated his cell mate to trick deputies. The inmate allegedly threatened to kill his cell mate's family. His cell mate then turned over his ID bracelet and social security number, according to the report.
