| New Employees Graduate from NH Corrections Academy |

CONCORD, NH - The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that the 102nd Corrections Academy class graduated from the pre-service training at a ceremony held at the Arthur D. Kehas Law Enforcement Training Center at the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council facility. The event occurred on April 15, 2016, according to Jeffrey Lyons, the public information officer for the NH DOC. The mandatory nine-week academy provides the new employees with the tools and resources needed to work in a correctional environment. There were 10 new Corrections Officers and two Probation/Parole Officers in the graduating class. They will be assigned to the Department’s prison facilities and District Offices around the state.
