MADISON COUNTY (KWWL) - An inmate in an Iowa prison gets angry and causes thousands of dollars worth of damage to his cell. Madison County officials are left trying to figure out what went wrong. In Winterset last Wednesday morning, 41-year-old Shawn Laird went into a fit of rage and started tearing things from the wall in his cell. According to dispatch, the inmate pulled his TV and phone from the wall and destroyed them. He also broke a window made from safety glass. Read More. |
