| Reno prisoner dies in medical facility |

An inmate at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Reno died Tuesday morning. Robert M. Murphy, 63, died in the center’s Regional Medical Facility about 5:45 a.m., according to the Nevada Department of Corrections. Murphy was committed from Clark County in September 1981 and was serving a sentence of 60 months to life for sexual assault, the department said. Read More. |
