| DOC investigating if Wake County inmate had help in overnight escape |

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The Department of Corrections is investigating if an inmate who escaped from a Wake County prison had help getting away, a Raleigh Police spokesman told CBS North Carolina. Officials said Keith Bradley, 38, was working as a night janitor at the prison when he used a mop bucket and mop handle to go over a fence. Bradley was discovered missing at 12:15 a.m. from the Wake Correctional Center on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh. A corrections officer noticed matted wire and sounded the alarm. Read More. |
