| Gage County Jail Assault Sends Inmate to Hospital |

BEATRICE – A Gage County jail inmate was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital for treatment of injuries, following an altercation between two inmates at the detention center, early Wednesday night. Authorities say inmate Thomas Sailors suffered cuts to his head. Law officers say 30-year-old inmate Michael Alm allegedly pushed Sailors, causing him to strike his head on a steel door of the jail cell the two men shared. Read More. |
