| Inmate dies in Union County jail |

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (AP) - The Union County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of an inmate. Sheriff Jimmy Edwards tells WTVA TV the man's body was found Friday night from an apparent suicide by hanging. Coroner Pam Bowman identified the inmate as 26-year-old Nathan Wilson. Edwards said Wilson had been in the jail for more than a year for the sale of a controlled substance and was recently sentenced for the crime. Read More. |
