COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX)- Almost 11,000 people are released from our state's department of corrections every year. Now, state officials are trying to get those former inmates straight from prison to work. "They’re ready for that second chance, but they’re nervous about being judged," Governor Nikki Haley said Monday while visiting Manning Correctional to see the prison's training programs in action.
