ROCK COUNTY (WREX) - Rock County Sheriff's detectives are investigating after an inmate is found dead in the county jail. Police say early Saturday morning, a correctional officer was conducting a security check in the Jail Medical Unit when an inmate, identified as 45-year-old Sheri Parker of Janesville, was found unresponsive.
