| Stafford Creek Corrections Center Announces Annual Agency Award Winners |

Two employees at Stafford Creek Corrections Center, SCCC, received Department of Corrections Annual Agency Awards on Tuesday, May 3, recognizing their work for the department. Each year, staff members are nominated by their colleagues. Recipients will be honored at a statewide ceremony in Tumwater. Gilbert Koski received the Correctional Officer of the year award, this award is presented to an employee whose performance is above and beyond normal requirements and who demonstrates his/her commitment to the Department’s Goals and Mission. This employee’s high standard of ethics is shown in his/her commitment to treating all individuals with fairness and respect. This employee consistently exemplifies teamwork, a positive attitude, sound decision making, initiative, determination, and a commitment to quality as a workplace value.
