| Inaugural Corrections Week Program |

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. -- The Florida Public Safety Institute in Gadsden County held a Corrections Week Luncheon Friday. The program honors members of the correctional community, and highlights the positive impact of corrections employees. Bill Brewer with the Florida Department of Corrections said, "Our correctional officers go out and put their lives on the line every day. They never know when they go in that day, that morning, that evening, what's in store for them, what's in front of them. They do it because they have a real sense of service over self."
