| Authorities identify Yakima County jail inmate found dead; possibly stabbed |

UPDATE: YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. - The 27-year-old inmate found dead in a Yakima County jail cell Wednesday morning is identified as Timothy Michael Denton according to the Yakima County Coroner. Initial reports from Jack Hawkins, the Yakima County Coroner, says Denton was possibly stabbed to death. Mike Russell with Yakima County Sheriff's Office says Denton suffered trauma to the upper part of his body. Denton was found dead in a fourth floor jail cell at approximately 10:32 a.m. according to officials with the Department of Correction, (DOC). Read More. |
