| Department of Corrections announces interim warden for Oklahoma State Penitentiary |

McALESTER — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections announced Wednesday that a former longtime executive for an inmate rehabilitative services organization will serve as interim warden of the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. Kevin Duckworth of Norman will replace Jerry Chrisman, who had worked as OSP warden since December in addition to his role as warden of the nearby Jackie Brannon Correctional Center. Chrisman succeeded OSP Warden Anita Trammell, who the Tulsa World first reported retired in October amid a multicounty grand jury investigation into the DOC’s handling of the January 2015 execution of Charles Warner and the circumstances leading to Richard Glossip receiving a stay of execution in September.
