MIAMI, Okla. — In what a prosecutor called “a pretty complicated and interesting” organization, a multi-state drug ring allegedly being run from prison by the killer of a reserve deputy took investigators six months to uncover and found members were reportedly collecting up to $1 million a week in sales. “We estimate they were moving at least 5 pounds of methamphetamine a week through Miami, sometimes much more,” District Attorney Kenny Wright said. “The street value was approximately $250,000 to $1 million.” The drug ring was based in Miami and was operating in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas, he said.
