| Police capture escaped sex offender |

HARTFORD - Authorities say a 28-year-old sex offender who escaped from furlough supervision about a week ago has been captured. The Hartford Police Department says Dale Adams Jr., was taken into custody without incident Saturday in White River Junction. He’s been turned over to the state Department of Corrections, which transported him to the Southern State Correctional Center in Springfield. Adams is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
