| Contraband seized at Monterey County Jail |

Jail staff and deputies with the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office have seized various contraband in multiple incidents this week at the Monterey County Jail. On May 11, jail personnel found marijuana and tobacco in a “non-secure area” of the jail, according to MCSO. Deputies were notified, and following an investigation, inmate Joshua Bickley was arrested on suspicion of possessing contraband. Firearms, drugs, and more seized in Toro Park busts Bickley is serving a 36-month sentence at the Monterey County Jail on charges related to selling drugs. Read More. |
