A PRISONER who murdered the son of a Stafford councillor with a kitchen knife has been sentenced to 33 years behind bars. Convicted killer William Torcher, 51, stabbed fellow inmate 37-year-old Alexander Cusworth suddenly and without warning in the kitchens at HMP Dartmoor on November 26 last year. Tolcher, who is now at Exeter Prison and has a horrendous record for violence, had been issued with a knife with a 12-inch blade to chop vegetables. Read More. |
