| Police name prison inmate suspect in Vegas triple killing |

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 38-year-old Nevada state prison inmate known by several names was accused Tuesday of killing three people in a Las Vegas apartment during a drug robbery nearly six months ago. Police, family members, friends and a local church leader returned to the West Las Vegas neighborhood to identify Gerald Jamone Pointer as the man responsible for the Dec. 7 triple homicide. He's accused of killing married couple Marty Cornell Young and Charlita Lashunda Carroll, and DeAndre Leggett in a robbery that police said stemmed from trade in crack cocaine. Read More. |
