| CA Inmate Firefighter Walks Away From Camp |

May 31--CRESTLINE -- Authorities are searching for an inmate who walked away from the Pilot Rock Conservation firefighter camp early Tuesday morning, officials said. Chad Ellebracht, 40, was discovered to have gone missing around 7:30 a.m., according to a statement from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He was last seen in the camp around 5:30 a.m., during an inmate count. Surrounding law enforcement departments were alerted and are helping look for Ellebracht, who was sentenced to three years in state prison on a drug charge, officials said. Ellenbracht stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has several tattoos on his chest and arms, including his last name across his back.
