| Mississippi County escaped inmate back in custody |

LUXORA, AR (KAIT) - A man who escaped from jail last week in Mississippi County is now back in custody. According to Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook, Wendell Shields, 32, of Blytheville is back in custody as of Saturday evening. Sheriff Cook said Blytheville police received an anonymous tip that Shields was spotted on North Franklin Street. Police and a sheriff's deputy responded and found him hiding in bushes in the 100-block of North Franklin. He was taken into custody around 7:15. Shields was originally arrested by Blytheville police for commercial burglary, theft and robbery. He has also been arrested on numerous other charges.
