| Contraband charge for former Groveland inmate |

A Buffalo man, who could have been released from state prison by the end of the year, has been charged with first-degree possession of prison contraband in connection with an incident at Groveland Correctional Facility. Brandon L. Gibson, 34, who is currently being held at Gowanda Correctional Facility, a medium-security prison in Erie County, was arrested June 2 and charged for a Dec. 31, 2015, incident at Groveland.
