| Three Correctional Officers Stabbed by Inmate With Terrorist Ties |

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville was put on high alert when tragedy struck last week as three well-trained officers were stabbed with an improvised weapon (referred to by some as a shank) by an isolated inmate with terrorist communication ties. The three officers injured include, a Warden, a Captain, and a special Investigative Supervisor Lieutenant. The Warden suffered the most extensive injuries needing over 80 staples to his upper body. According to The American Federation of Government Employees, “All three officers received treatment at local hospitals and are recovering. The inmate, who was recently convicted of providing material support to terrorists, was separated from other inmates for safety reasons and will be moved to a higher security prison”. Read More. |
