GREENFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A service was held Saturday to honor and remember the Correction Officer who was killed in an early morning motorcycle crash in Greenfield Thursday. Officer Jacob Garmalo was just 21 and was riding his motorcycle home from work on Elm Street when the crash happened. Condolences poured in that day from local police departments hit hard by the loss of a fellow member of law enforcement. On Saturday morning, Sheriff Donelan and his staff held a church service at the Franklin County House of Corrections in Greenfield in memory of fallen Officer Garmalo. Read More. |
