| Travis County Jail Inmate Dies After Becoming Unresponsive While Detained |

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX -- An inmate was found dead in his jail cell after becoming unresponsive, Travis County Sheriff's Office officials said Monday. The inmate was identified as Justin Daniel Dominguez, who was 24 years old. A sheriff's spokesman said the incident occurred June 11, when officials were alerted to a medical alarm set off at about 10 a.m. for an unresponsive inmate. Life-saving measures were conducted by corrections officer and jail medical staff until Austin Fire and Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene, TCSO spokesman Roger Wade said in a statement.
