WALNUT GROVE, Miss. (WJTV) – The closing of a prison will cost a Mississippi town hundreds of jobs and the mayor of that town says he was blind-sided by that decision and is worried. The Mississippi Department of Corrections commissioner says he made the decision based on those state cuts and a declining inmate population.
