DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) – The Iowa Board of Corrections has hired a new warden at a Fort Dodge prison without being told he’d been arrested twice for drunken driving and had served time in jail.The Des Moines Register reports the board confirmed the hiring of 53-year-old Robert A. Johnson on May 6 without being told of the arrests for drunken driving in 1991 and 2008. He acknowledges serving jail time and says he underwent a substance abuse evaluation.
