JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Officials say an inmate was arrested after he allegedly flooded his cell with toilet water, bit a sheriff investigator and spit at a correctional officer. Authorities say 23-year-old Matthew Petty, who is already incarcerated at the Fulton County Correctional Facility, was arrested by Fulton County Sheriff’s Investigators following this incident. They say Petty created a disturbance within the housing unit by flooding his cell. While being moved to another cell, Petty became combative with correctional staff. They say he threw toilet water onto a correctional officer and injured another man’s hand during the struggle. Read More. |
