| Man escapes from prison's work release facility |

A man serving a six-month sentence for civil contempt in a domestic relations case escaped Monday from Northampton County Prison's work release facility in West Easton, the Department of Corrections reports. Aaron Creekmore, 25, who until June 2 was in Montgomery County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $5,000 bail while facing simple assault and harassment charges, is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 211 pounds, the Department of Corrections said in a news release. The department didn't indicate Creekmore's race, but said he had upper right arms tattoos of planets and stars. He has black hair, brown eyes, a beard and a mustache. It wasn't clear in court papers if the May 8 Montgomery County charges led to the civil contempt charge in Northampton County. Read More. |
